The production of Jujutsu Kaisen presented a new visual exclusively for cinemas IMAX, on the occasion of the premiere of the special screening Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Compilation × The Culling Game Advance Screening, which will hit theaters in Japan on November 7th.
The image, published on October 22, shows the protagonist Yuji Itadori extending his hand towards the IMAX logo through a dense fog, symbolizing the immersion and visual power that characterizes this cinematographic format.
This special screening compiles the events of the arc Shibuya and enter the beginning of The Culling Game, anticipating the return of the anime with its next season. The launch seeks to offer an extended experience for fans of the franchise in rooms equipped with high-resolution technology and surround sound.
Jujutsu Kaisen it is a dark fantasy series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between March 2018 and September 2024. The work has surpassed the 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The first season of the anime aired between October 2020 and March 2021, followed by the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in December 2021, it raised more than 26.5 billion yen globally. Its second season aired from July to December 2023, and the story will continue with Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game – Part 1, scheduled to premiere in january 2026.
