Kadokawa
announced a collaboration with Elements Garden and the
animation studio ENGI to produce the original anime Ghost
Concert: Missing Songs, whose premiere is scheduled for 2026.
The project revealed a visual and preliminary promotional video, as well as the
cast, production team, and main plot.
According
to Kadokawa, this production represents a new installment within the line known
as “song battle series”, spiritual successor to the franchise Symphogear.
The story is set in the year 2045, in a world where songs have been
banned. In this context, an application called MiucS replaces
humans in musical creation and performance. Everything changes when Seria
Aiba, a high school student who can see and touch spirits, hears someone
secretly sing and encounters a “Great Specter” that has crossed from
beyond.
