Magazine Monthly Shonen Gangan of Square Enix announced that the author Yasunobu Yamauchi he will release a new manga titled Joshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High School Girls). The series will debut on October 18 through the portal Bargan Online and it will present a story focused on the daily lives of a group of high school girls. The magazine advances the motto: “High school girls can be stupid too”.
The return of an author known for his absurd humor
Yasunobu Yamauchi is remembered for having created Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (Daily Lives of High School Boys), a comedy that sarcastically portrayed the experiences of three high school students. The manga was published in Bargan Online between 2009 and 2012, and had a total of seven compilation volumes.
The work achieved great popularity after inspiring one anime series in 2012 produced by Sunrise, as well as one live-action movie in 2013.
Other works of the author
In addition to his well-known school comedy, Yamauchi is also the author of Hakurai no Kishi (The Knight of White Thunder), a fantasy manga that was published between 2019 and 2022 in Gangan Online, ending with five volumes.
