most endearing franchises in the medium. The representation agency Kenyu Office
confirmed the sudden death of voice actress Asami Yaguchi at the age of
47. According to reports shared by local media, the actress died of cardiac
arrest, leaving a deep void between her colleagues and the followers who
enjoyed her characters throughout her more than two decades of career.
The news
was released through an official statement issued by Kenyu Office, a company in
which Yaguchi collaborated practically from the beginning of the firm. The
members of the agency expressed their condolences to the family and remembered
the actress as a cheerful person, always willing to take care of others and
much loved within the guild. Following the wishes of his close relatives, the
funeral will be held in a strictly private manner.
Born in
Saitama Prefecture on July 31, 1979, Yaguchi began her professional career in
dubbing in 2002. One of his most representative and beloved roles was bringing
Kuchipatchi to life within the Tamagotchi franchise, lending his voice
to both the 2007 animated film and the multiple television series that
accompanied the brand for years, including Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream
and Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends.
In addition
to her remembered work with virtual pets, the actress demonstrated great
versatility by playing the child version of Gintoki Sakata in the acclaimed anime
Gintama. Her talent was also present in other renowned productions such as Super
Robot Wars OG playing Katina Tarask, Fantastic Children giving life
to Tarlant, and in the adaptation of Dies irae in the role of Eleonore
Von Wittenburg. He also participated in popular video games such as Arknights
playing Pith and Fire Emblem Heroes as the young Eliwood.
