The official site of the anime adaptation of the light novel series Saikyo no Shokugyo wa Yūsha Demo Kenja Demo Naku Kantei-shi (Kari) Rashii Desu yo? (The Strongest Job is Apparently Not a Hero or a Sage, but an Appraiser [Provisional]!) he announced that the series will premiere in april 2026. The project featured its first visual, main cast and production team. The platform Crunchyroll he confirmed that he will broadcast the series outside of Japan.
Voice cast
- Hisako Kanemoto (Ika Musume in Shinryaku! Ika Musume, Ami Mizuno in Sailor Moon Crystal) as Hibiki Manabe, a high school student transported to another world with the work of “Appraiser”.
- Shizuka Ito (Akeno Himejima in DxD High School, Meiko Shiraki in Prison School) as Emalia, an elf who helps Hibiki after her arrival in the new world.
- Kenta Miyake (All Might in Boku no Hero Academia, Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as Claude, a beast warrior who was rescued by Hibiki.
- Lamalfa Michelle Tateyama (Shirushi Ikaruga in Shiroi Suna no Aquatope, Mikoto Fujishiro in Engage Kiss) like Lilian, a young woman with great magical power.
- Yukina Shutō (Aine Chidorigafuchi in Masou Gakuen HxH, Kaoru Nanase in Taisho Otome Otogibanashi) as Vene, a talking white cat who appears when activating an ability.
Production team
The direction will be in charge of Makoto Hoshino (Banished from the Hero's Party, Utano☆Princesama Revolutions) in the studio Flad. Megumi Shimizu (Banished from the Hero's Party, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) will supervise and write the scripts, while Mihoko Ogawa (Eiga Chibi Maruko-chan: Italy kara Kita Shōnen) and Yoshie Matsumoto (Banished from the Hero's Party) they will be in charge of character design.
About the light novel
The original work, written by Atekichi and illustrated by Akira Shigaraki, began its publication on the site AlphaPolis in march 2017. The first printed volume was released that same year, and the eighth volume it is scheduled to be published on October 22, 2025.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Takeda it also began to be serialized in AlphaPolis in august 2017 and it has ten compilation volumes to date.
