Production
company Pony Canyon announced
the original anime Tetsuryo! Meet with Tetsudou Musume, based on
characters from the Tetsudou Musume franchise. The project
will have a television series that will premiere in 2026, and has
already presented a promotional teaser along with a key visual.

Equipment
The
original work is by Tomytec, while the direction is in charge
of Misuzu Hoshino. The creative cooperation is provided by Kisetsu
Morita, author of Slime Taoshite 300-nen. The script and
composition of the series are in the hands of Aya Satsuki, and the
character design falls to Hisanori Hashimoto. The animation will be
produced by East Fish Studio.
The
Tetsudou Musume Franchise
The Tetsudou
Musume project began in 2005 under the Tomytec brand.
The franchise is known for its themed characters related to female workers of
Japanese railway companies, as well as merchandise and collectible figures.
In 2008, the live-action series Tetsudou Musume: Girls Be
Ambitious! was released.
The story
follows Misaki, a college student who faces the pressure of daily
life and her doubts about the future. Everything changes when she is invited to
join the Tetsuyo Club, a group dedicated to railways. There, Misaki
finds new motivations and discovers the excitement of a world full of
adventures.
