The journey
of anime's most beloved elf continues. The official website of Sousou
no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) released a new
promotional video for his second season, revealing an abundance of
never-before-seen scenes. The trailer not only delights with stunning
landscapes and intense battle sequences, but confirms that the series will air
every day Friday at 11:00 pm. (Japan time) from January
16, 2026.
For the
music, it was confirmed that the singer-songwriter milet he
will return to perform the closing theme (ending) titled "The
Story of Us". The song, described as a mid-tempo song that combines
clarity and strength, again features arrangements by Evan Call,
composer of the soundtrack.
milet he commented on the song:
"I wrote 'The Story of Us' in the hope that this song can protect you in
all those moments like a charm". For its part, Evan Call he
shared that he arranged the song imagining themes of hope and friendship,
seeking to blend even more deeply with Frieren's world.

the work
Based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, Sousou no Frieren it is serialized in the Weekly Shonen Sunday since April 2020. The play, which chronicles Frieren's life after defeating the Demon King, has surpassed the 30 million copies in circulation and won the Taisho Manga 2021. The second season will be broadcast internationally on Crunchyroll.
