The search for the Elixir of Life continues. The official account of the anime Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku he has broken the silence to announce the release date of his long-awaited second season. The announcement came accompanied by a key new visual and the introduction of the new members of the Yamada Asaemon clan who will join the conflict on the island.
The second season will debut on Japanese television on January 11, 2026. For the international public, Crunchyroll he has confirmed that he will broadcast the series on simulcast as the episodes air.
New cast members
The story introduces more executioners from the Yamada Asaemon family, played by an all-star voice cast:

- Koji Yusa (Gin Ichimaru in Bleach, Shadow in Sonic X) as Yamada Asaemon Jikka.

Staff and Production
The study MAPPA returns for animation under the direction of Kaori Makita. Although the main team remains, there are changes in the technical staff: Chika Toda (Jujutsu Kaisen) takes over as the new director of photography and Junichi Higashi (Love Live! Sunshine!!) is the new art director.
Context of the work
The first season premiered in April 2023, adapting the manga Yuji Kaku which was published in Shonen Jump+ between 2018 and 2021. The story follows Gabimaru the Void, a ninja condemned to death who must travel to a mysterious and deadly island to find the elixir of immortality and earn his forgiveness.
