The
ambitious multimedia project Dark Machine it has taken a big
step towards its consolidation. During a special live-streamed presentation,
the main details of its anime television adaptation were revealed. The
announcement included a first promotional video, a shocking key visual and
confirmation that the series will premiere in 2026 through the
chain Fuji TV.
High caliber production staff
The anime
is being animated by Production +h under the direction
of Kazumi Terada. The project has the creative supervision of Goro
Taniguchi (Code Geass, One Piece Film Red) as a
creative producer. The main mechanical design is in the hands of Hidetaka
Tenjin (Macross Frontier), while the music will be composed by
the legendary SUGIZO.
Synopsis
and context
The story is set in the near future where the Dark Machine, an electronic mecha sport, has transformed the global economy. Kairi, following her grandfather's last words, travels to Golden Valley, a special economic zone dominated by the strongest player, Ajima. There, Kairi becomes embroiled in intense battles as she seeks to uncover the truth behind her grandfather's message and reach the top of the Dark Machine.
