The science fiction universe created by Gene Urobuchi it is ready to expand. During a special screening of the original 2014 film, the third promotional video for the sequel, titled Rakuen Tsuiho -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance (Heart's Resonance). The trailer confirmed that this new feature film will be released in theaters in Japan on November 13, 2026.
Return of the creative team
The project brings together the main team that made the first film a cult hit. Seiji Mizushima return to management in the studio Toei Animation, with a script rewritten by Gene Urobuchi (from Nitroplus). Character design is still in charge Masatsugu Saito and the music is composed by NARASAKI.
About the franchise
The original film, Expelled from Paradise, premiered in November 2014 and was awarded Best Animation of the Year at the 24th Japan Movie Critics Awards. Although originally this sequel was announced with the title Liberated from Paradise, the final name has remained as Kokoro no Resonance.
