The highest difficulty level is yet to be unlocked. The official website of the anime adaptation of Hell Mode (Hell Mode - Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai by Musou Suru) revealed its second promotional video, confirming that the series will premiere on January 10, 2026 on channels such as Tokyo MX and BS Nippon TV.
The trailer offers a sneak peek of the ending theme, titled "Sanctuary" and performed by Kaya. On the other hand, the opening theme will be "Haku" by the band Atarayo. In addition, two important additions to the voice cast were announced:
- Akio Otsuka (All For One in My Hero Academia, Blackbeard in One Piece) as Zenoff.
- Takahiro Miyamoto as Carnell
Production Equipment
The series is animated by Yokohama Animation Lab under the direction of Masato Tamagawa (The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt). The character design is in charge of Kei Tsushima, while the design of summoned and demonic beasts is the work of Junji Goto.
Written by Hamuo and illustrated by Mo, the light novel began print publication in 2020 under the Earth Star Entertainment imprint. The story follows a "hardcore gamer" who is summoned to another world on the "Hell Mode" difficulty, where he must use his experience in "grinding" to survive with a terribly unfair game balance.
