Jujutsu Kaisen's third season reveals trailer and premiere date

The deadly ritual is about to begin. During the Jump Festa '26 event held this Saturday, a new trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 was revealed. The long-awaited sequel will premiere on MBS and TBS networks on January 8, 2026 at 12:26 a.m. JST, debuting with a one-hour special that will cover the first few episodes.

The video confirmed that the band King Gnu will perform the opening theme titled "AIZO." Daiki Tsuneta, a member of the band, described the song as an avant-garde rock tune that represents an evolution of his classic style, expressing his excitement for the explosive start of the new arc.


New voices for the Culling Game


A stellar lineup of voice actors was announced for the key characters in this arc:


  • Kazuya Nakai (Zoro in One Piece) as Kinji Hakari
  • Yuki Sakakihara as Kirara Hoshi
  • Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki in Gintama) as Hiromi Higuruma
  • Satoshi Tsurouka as Fumihiko Takaba
  • Yutaka Aoyama as Reggie Star
  • Nico as Kogane.

Trailer Details


The trailer shows the entrance of third-year students, Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi, to the Culling Game, in addition to intense battle scenes starring Choso and Naoya Zenin. One of the most tense moments features the brutal confrontation between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, who share the same mentor. It also introduces a mysterious girl with an angelic appearance and highlights Megumi Fushiguro's participation in this battle royale of sorcerers.
