The fan club officially opens its doors this spring. The official website for the anime adaptation of the web manga Kirio Fanclub, the work of Chikyuu no Osakana Pon-chan, revealed its first promotional video on Friday, a new key visual and crucial details about the cast. The announcement confirmed that the series will premiere in April 2026.
The first promotional video stands out for including the first lines of dialogue by Ken Kirio, played by Gakuto Kajiwara, who had appeared in previous visuals but without a voice. In addition, four new cast members joining the club were announced:
- Jin Ogasawara (Futari Solo Camp) as Hayato Momose
- Yuya Hirose (Honey Lemon Soda) as Mitsuru Manda.
- Ayasa Ito (Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi) as Satsuki Muraoka
- Fuka Izumi (Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi) as Seira Tashiro
Production Staff
The anime is being produced by the Satelight studio under the direction of Sou Toyama. The creative team includes:
- Script and Series Composition: Aya Satsuki.
- Character Design: Nami Hayashi.
- Music: Tomoki Kikuya (Eromanga-sensei), with musical production by Pony Canyon.
About the work
The romantic comedy manga was serialized on the Comic Ruelle website from June 2022 to August 2024, ending with six compilation volumes. The story also inspired a spin-off that concluded in April of this year.
