Netflix's anime catalog is preparing to receive a new
visual gem at the end of the month. The official website for the original
film Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (Chou Kaguya-hime!)
revealed a second trailer and key details about its release.
The film has its world premiere scheduled exclusively on the streaming platform
for January 22, 2026.

The teaser offers
a sneak peek of the insert song titled "Moment, Symphony," performed
by singer Yuuko Natsuyoshi and written by 40mP. In
addition, new additions to the voice cast were confirmed:

Production Equipment & Expansions
The project is
directed by Shingo Yamashita under the production of Studio
Colorido and Studio Chromato. Yamashita also co-wrote the
script with Saeri Natsuo, while Fumi Katou and Akihiro
Nagae designed the characters. The music is composed by Conisch.
The franchise will
expand beyond cinema: a manga adaptation illustrated by Tarо̄ Yoneda will begin in Kadokawa's Comptiq magazine
on January 9, followed by a novel written by Naruto
Kiriyama and illustrated by Asao Urata on January
30.
