Details of the new Evangelion anime with Asuka

This short is not a simple compilation, but a completely new production planned, scripted and supervised by the original creator, Hideaki Anno. The direction falls to Naoyuki Asano, who worked as animation director on Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.

The projection will be a monumental experience: the anime will be shown on a gigantic LED screen 18 meters wide by 15 meters high installed on the stage of the event. It will only be screened once a day during the festival, and access requires specific tickets (STAGE AREA or ALL AREA Pass, the latter already sold out).

About Evangelion

The franchise began its original broadcast between 1995 and 1996, revolutionizing the industry with its story about teenagers piloting humanoid weapons against the "Angels."

The series was reinvented in 2007 with the film tetralogy Rebuild of Evangelion. Its latest installment, released in 2021, became the first in the saga to surpass 10 billion yen at the box office, cementing its cultural legacy.
