Next
season's menu is starting to take shape. Happinet revealed the
first promotional video for The Food Diary of Miss Maid (Maid-san
wa Taberu Dake) anime on Thursday, confirming the artists of its theme
songs and new cast members. The series is a co-production between EMT
Squared and Magic Bus studios.
The trailer
offers a sneak peek of the opening theme, "Ribbon," performed
by the majiko singer-songwriter. For their part, the girl
group ARCANA PROJECT will be in charge of the closing theme
titled "Shiawase Flavor".

The
direction of the series is in the hands of Ryosuke Senbo (Yokai
Watch), with scripts supervised by Natsuko Takahashi (Nura:
Rise of the Yokai Clan). The character design is the work of Chiaki
Abe, while the music will be composed by Katsutoshi Kitagawa.

Two new
additions to the cast have been announced that will accompany the protagonist
on her culinary adventures:
- Shizuka Ishigami as Sora Endo
Known for being Ikuno in Darling in the Franxx and Nike Lemercier in The World is Still Beautiful. - Hiromi Igarashi as Anzu Shingetsu
Famous for playing Yuri Alpha in Overlord and Anzu Futaba in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls.

The story follows Suzume Tachibana, an apprentice maid who finds herself trapped in Japan for a year. Your solution to pass the time? Eat, of course. From sweets like taiyaki and melon bread to savory dishes like takoyaki and onigiri, the series is a journey through Japanese cuisine through the eyes of a foreign maid.

in December 2019. The work is still in digital serialization and released its
fifth compilation volume in November 2025.
