The crew of
the Straw Hat sets sail for new waters. Netflix began
streaming the official trailer for the second season of the live-action
One Piece, titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, on Tuesday.
The video confirms that the new episodes will premiere on the platform on March
10.
Along with the trailer, a new visual and message from the original creator, Eiichiro Oda, who closely oversees the adaptation to ensure fidelity to the source material, was shared.

of the second season of the live-action One Piece
As confirmed by Oda, this season will cover the story up to the Drum Island Arc. The trailer offers a first look at the characters and locations that will be introduced, covering the following story arcs:
- Loguetown.
- Reverse Mountain and Twin Cape.
- Whiskey
Peak.
- Little
Garden.
- Drum
Island.
Changes in production
The second season incorporates Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) as writer, executive producer and co-showrunner, joining Matt Owens. However, Owens announced in March that he would be leaving the show after production ends this season to prioritize his mental health.

the franchise
The series,
produced by Tomorrow Studios, debuted in August 2023 with eight
episodes and has been awarded at the Children's & Family Emmy Awards.
Production on this new installment began in July 2024 and filming has already
concluded.
