Only Leveling comes to Fortnite: Epic Games confirms collaboration

Get your credit card ready because Epic Games isn't going to let us save a dime this month. After many rumors and leaks, they finally dropped the bombshell: the Fortnite x Solo Leveling collaboration is a reality and is just around the corner. On Monday, the official account posted a teaser with black text on a dark background that read: "The weakest hunter in all of humanity. Rank E. No potential", a direct reference that any Sung Jinwoo fan instantly recognizes.

This marks another great success for the Battle Royale, which continues to devour anime franchises as if they were candy (we already saw Goku, Naruto and Deku pass by). The arrival of the "Monarch of Shadows" is not only exciting because of the skins, but because it opens the door to incredible visual mechanics. If you've ever dreamed of shouting "Arise" while building a wooden tower, your time has come.

v39.50 Update Details and Expected Skins

The appointment is this Thursday, February 19 with the v39.50 update. Although Epic has saved the final images, the dataminers have already given us a preview of the full menu. Sung Jinwoo is expected to arrive in his signature dark outfit and, most likely, a reactive style that evolves as you eliminate opponents, simulating his leveling up. But he will not come alone; the files suggest that Cha Hae-In, the S-Rank hunter and undisputed waifu from the series, will also have her own skin.

In addition to the human protagonists, the inclusion of one of the most iconic shadow soldiers, which could be the knight Igris or the ant king Beru, is strongly rumored, either as a skin or as part of a mythical emote. All this will come directly to the item shop, and as usual, we will also have the LEGO versions for those who prefer the quieter construction mode. Epic Games knows exactly what we want and is going to sell it dearly.

About Solo Leveling

Originally a South Korean webtoon (manhwa) that broke records with more than 14 billion views, the story follows Sung Jinwoo, a mediocre hunter who, after surviving a massacre in a double dungeon, obtains a "System" that allows him to level up infinitely. Its anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures in 2024 was a resounding success thanks to its fluid animation, cementing its place as the definitive power fantasy of the decade.
