Piece, will premiere its third season sometime in 2027. Under the official
title of One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, the announcement
confirms that the production is already working in Cape Town, South
Africa, to bring one of the most epic arcs of the franchise to the screen.

This
confirmation comes just a few weeks after the second season, titled Into
the Grand Line, landed in the catalog on March 10, 2026. That batch of
episodes took Monkey D. Luffy and his friends through
Loguetown and Whiskey Peak, closing with the events on Drum Island. Since its
debut in 2023, the series has achieved what seemed impossible: to convince the
most demanding fans of the original material, even accumulating Emmy awards for
its soundtrack and the work of its stunt specialists.
What is
the battle for the Kingdom of Alabasta about?
The plot of
this third installment will put the Straw Hat Pirates in an
extreme situation. After crossing the Grand Line, Luffy and his
crew decide to help their friend, Princess Vivi, save her home from
a civil war orchestrated from the shadows. The kingdom of Alabasta is on the
verge of collapse and the crew must face the criminal organization Baroque
Works. In addition to the large-scale battles, this season is crucial because
it formally introduces Luffy's brother Ace and delves into the secrets that
could change the fate of the pirate world.
