If you're already saturated with seeing protagonists reincarnating with absurd powers to slaughter demon kings, here's a well-deserved break. The EMT Squared studio has just released a beautiful trailer for The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World (or Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi), confirming that this super chill isekai will land on our screens in July of this year. The trailer not only lets us see the relaxed vibe of the series, but also prescribes a little piece of "Butterfly", the opening by INUWASI, while the ending theme titled "Holy Sweet Home" will be performed by the group Onkan Lemonade.

The Art of Camping Away from Kingdom Politics

Under the direction of Atsushi Nigorikawa, this adaptation of Yoneori's light novel aims to give us pure visual dopamine. The classic trope of "I was kicked out for having a useless skill" is still alive and well, but here it's used with a truly charming twist. Rin's ability is not used to destroy mountains, but to summon a fully equipped RV. Instead of seeking bloody revenge against the arrogant prince who threw her out on the street, she simply decides it's time to enjoy life, cook delicious dishes, and camp in fantasy landscapes. Basically, the dream of any millennial office worker taken to animation.

Synopsis of The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World

Rin Takanashi is a single woman in her thirties whose only passion in life is playing tabletop role-playing games and solo camping. Out of nowhere, she is summoned into a fantasy world along with a beautiful high school girl to fulfill the sacred role of "saints." However, the prince of the realm reviews his stats and determines that Rin's abilities, called "Motor House" and "Survival", are pure garbage. After being expelled and left to fend for herself, Rin discovers that "Motor House" allows her to summon a luxury camping vehicle. Far from getting depressed, he decides to take advantage of this apparent accident to turn his exile into an epic and relaxing road trip through this new world, meeting adorable fellow travelers and preparing delicious food along the way.
