Spending everything on the gacha and suddenly
having those units be real in another world is the fantasy that no player
admits out loud but everyone has had. Gacha Girls Corps confirmed
its anime with a premiere scheduled for January 2027, opening its
official website on June 25 with a teaser, promotional image, cast, and
production team. The announcement of the project has been underway since May
2025, but it is only now that the specific names behind the adaptation are
revealed.
The teaser and promo image offer the first look
at the world and characters in the story, which follows Heihachi Okura,
an average mobile gaming addict with his wallet smashed by gacha pulls. One
day, one of those pulls teleports him to another world. Attacked by monsters
with no other options, he does the only thing he knows how: throw the gacha
again. To his surprise, his units materialize in front of him in real life.
You're used to seeing cute girls pop up on your phone screen, but you never
expected to see them pop out of it.

The general direction is in charge of Masahiro

About Gacha Girls Corps
Gacha Girls Corps (Gacha or Mawashite Nakama or
Fuyasu) is a
light novel by Chinkururi with illustrations by Yasutaka
Isegawa that began in Shosetsuka ni Naro in January
2016, with the ninth volume published in August 2020. Syu Haruno's manga
adaptation has fourteen volumes compiled, with the fourteenth scheduled for
June 29. The story mixes the mechanics of mobile gacha with the isekai genre in
a way that does exactly what the premise promises: bring the logic of
collecting powerful units into the world of fantasy.
