The
commercial adventures and simmering romance of one of the most beloved couples
in anime will continue their journey around the world. The official site of the
new animated adaptation of Spice and Wolf (Okami to
Koshinryo: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) confirmed with great enthusiasm
that the second season of the series will officially premiere
on screens during the year 2027, accompanying the announcement with a revealing
promotional image that anticipates new dilemmas for its protagonists.
The newly
unveiled art shows the wise wolf Holo and merchant Kraft
Lawrence sharing a table in a tavern, while in the background you can
glimpse the silhouette of Eve Bolan, a mysterious merchant whose arrival
promises to test the couple's cunning. The production will once again be under
the Passione studio label, keeping Takeo Takahashi in
general direction along with Hijiri Sanpei, also adding Nobuyoshi
Nagayama and Takahiro Majima in the direction of
episodes. Character designs will continue to be handled by Koji Haneda and Rina
Sugimoto, while the dazzling soundtrack will once again be composed by the
acclaimed Kevin Penkin.
In the
voice acting section, the main roles will once again be in the best possible
hands. The talented seiyuuJun Fukuyama will reprise his role
as Kraft Lawrence, while the renowned actress Ami Koshimizu will
once again embody the unforgettable Holo, maintaining that unparalleled
chemistry that amazed the audience during the broadcast of the first season in
