Combining a passion for science with the entanglements of first love sounds like the perfect formula for an endearing story, and the Japanese publishing market has just given the green light to its next big project. During the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival Online 2026 event, it was officially announced that the light novel series Delta to Gamma no Rigakubu Note (The Science Notes by Delta and Gamma) will make the leap to television with its own anime adaptation.

To accompany the reveal of the project, a special promotional video was released where voice actress Kanna Nakamura lends her voice to the character of Rio Iwama, with visual art from the original illustrator of the novels, Asagi Tosaka. Likewise, the artist Lap Tsutsumi, responsible for the manga version, joined the celebration by sharing a commemorative drawing to celebrate the announcement among readers.

The plot closely follows the day-to-day activities of the Tsunagai High School Science Club, a group of students united by a deep fascination with scientific phenomena. Between test tubes and theories, the members of the club are dedicated to solving the small enigmas that arise in their day to day, ranging from strange urban legends on campus to unexpected situations in their environment. However, the real challenge will begin when the laws of physics are not enough to explain the clumsy but sincere romantic feelings that begin to flourish between them.
