Blaming the person who keeps your entire house afloat is never a good idea, and the aristocracy of fantasy worlds is about to learn that lesson the hard way. The publishing label Earth Star Novel confirmed that the Maid Nara Touzen Desu light novel series. Nureginu o Kiserareta Bannou Maid-san wa Tabi ni Deru Koto ni Shimashita (Looks like a Job for a Maid! The Tales of a Dismissed Supermaid) will make the leap to the small screen with its own animated adaptation.

The story follows Nina, a young woman who worked tirelessly at Earl Mirkwood's mansion until a completely false accusation ends up ruining her routine and throwing her on the streets. Unemployed and with little to lose, the girl decides to go on a journey on her own. However, Nina is far from an ordinary employee: she possesses such a ridiculously wide arsenal of skills that she soon becomes a salvation for the strange characters she crosses paths with.

Along the way, this super-employee begins to solve the problems of rather peculiar figures, from a magician unable to channel her own magic and an inventor whose experiments always end in disaster, to a little orphan with serious difficulties in feeding. Meanwhile, the mansion that expelled her begins to crumble into chaos without her presence, proving that no one in that county valued the person who solved absolutely everything behind the scenes enough.

For now, the publisher has not shared information about the production team, the animation studio in charge or the projected premiere window for the series. However, the announcement has generated quite a bit of curiosity among followers of everyday fantasy stories and off-road protagonists.
