The official site for the anime adaptation of Yasoyuki Kosaka's manga, Houkago Teibou Nisshi released the distribution information for the Blu-ray / DVD compilations, which in turn revealed that the project will have twelve episodes.
The anime will have three compilation volumes that will be released on the following dates:
Volume # 1, episodes 1-4: June 26, 2020.
Volume # 2, episodes 5 to 8: July 29, 2020.
Volume # 3, episodes 9-12: August 26, 2020.
The anime will premiere on April 7. For his part, Kosaka began publishing the manga in Akita Shoten's Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2017. The genres are comedy, school and life stories.

Synopsis
Hina Tsurugi is a freshman at a coastal high school and she considers herself inferior to others. Walking along the embankment, she meets a senpai named Kuroiwa, who invites her to join the "Teibou" club and start fishing.
Surrounded by eccentric members, what will Hina's new high school life be like?
