Doctors Entertainment, a Japanese company that makes figures based on anime and video games, published through their Twitter account an illustration starring Kurumi Tokisaki and Tohka Yatogami from the Date A Live franchise.
The announcement added that content (probably figures) based on this illustration will be released, and asked fans to watch for upcoming announcements.
Date A Live is a series of light novels written by Koushi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, which was published between March 2011 and March 2020 through the Fujia Shobo publisher Fantasia Bunko label. The series published a total of 20 volumes.
Additionally, the franchise has been adapted to a large number of other media, such as manga and video games, however, the most popular has been the manga adaptation of which there have been a total of three seasons released in April 2013, April 2014 and January 2019, with three different animation studios. In addition, it is confirmed that a fourth season is in production.
Additionally, the spin-off light novels Date A Live Fragment: Date a Bullet will also inspire an animated film adaptation whose release date has yet to be revealed.
