SuperMash will allow you to create video games on Xbox One, Switch and PlayStation 4

Franchises like LittleBigPlanet, Mario Maker and Dreams have done it before. But SuperMash's proposal for the user to create and share their own video games is certainly interesting.

The indie developer Digital Continue was successful when launching SuperMash on PC last December, a situation that has allowed them to announce the premiere today for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 platforms, on May 8.

SuperMash is a sandbox with many tools that allow you not only to create custom video games, but also to combine 6 different genres ("metroidvania", stealth, platforms, JRPG, shooting, action / adventure) with the possibility of sharing with friends and other players.

Additionally, the game allows creators to get something called Dev Cars, which allows them to get more customization tools. And once the game hits all platforms, Dicital is committed to rolling out more genres and Dev Cards.

Will projects like this allow more gamers to go "to the other side" of the gamepad and eventually become developers?
