The game will be free with some purchases available in an internal store. Pre-registration to participate in the game's beta test is available in Japan, and all players will receive rewards depending on the number of registrations made. The story of the game is described as follows:

In the Kanata world, all citizens use "orbs of truth", which allow them to be condemned by popular vote if they commit any crime. Kanata is the only son of the respected village leader who runs an orphanage, and has strong ties to Misella, a girl in his care.

One fateful night, tragedy falls on Misella, and Kanata commits a great sin to save her. In desperation to prevent Kanata from committing the taboo, Misella is also categorized as a sinner. Now, being both persecuted you must choose between possessing your sin or letting your sin possess you.
