The June issue of Kodansha Publishing's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine published the final chapter of the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken spin-off manga, written by Shizuku Akechi and titled Tensei Shite mo Shachiku Datta Ken.

The manga is a spin-off from the light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, and began publishing by Akechi on the Suiyoubi no Sirius website in September 2018, and subsequently published on paper in the aforementioned magazine in October of the same year. The publisher published the second compilation volume on March 27.

The story centers on Rimuru, who reincarnates for the second time, this time in the real world, as a salaryman similar to his first life as Satoru Mikami, but still in his slime form.

For his part, Fuse published the original novels on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between 2013 and 2016. Micro Magazine publishing began its paper publication with illustrations by Fuse in 2014.

The play inspired a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami, which in turn inspired the 25-episode anime adaptation released in October 2018. A second season is confirmed to premiere in October.

Synopsis of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken

Satoru Mikami is an ordinary 37-year-old man who lives in Tokyo. He is relatively happy with his monotonous life, despite the fact that he has no girlfriend. During an encounter with one of his colleagues, an assailant stabs him and he dies. But during his agony before his death, a mysterious voice recites a series of commands that, at first, make no sense at all.

When he wakes up again, he discovers that he has reincarnated into a slime in another world. Little did he know that his monotonous life has now taken a complete turn since, with his new form and life, he will discover new skills and make new friends.
