Through her personal Twitter account, author Chihiro Ishizuka shared the official cover of the ninth compilation volume of the Flying Witch manga, which will be published on June 9.
Ishizuka began publishing the manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in September 2012. The publisher published the eighth compilation volume on August 9. In fact, the manga's publication began with a one-shot published in the same magazine in July 2010, however, it wasn't until two years later that Ishizuka decided to turn the concept into serialization.
The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by J.C. Studios. Staff under the direction of Katsushi Sakurabi and scripts written by Deko Akao, and issued between April and June 2016.
