Go-Toubun no Hanayome will release a video of their special event

Pony Canyon announced that due to the postponement of the “Go-Toubun no Hanayome Special Event 2020 in Nakano Sunplaza” event scheduled for May 16, a video of the special event held last year and held at the Yoriumi Hall will be released.


The launch event for this video will be attended by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Fuutarou Uesugi), Kana Hanazawa (Ichika Nakano), Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano), Miku Itou (Miku Nakano), Ayane Sakura (Yotsuba Nakano) and Inori Minase (Itsuki Nakano).

The video includes a fun conversation between the protagonists that takes place after the events of the anime's first season, the original script of the postponed event, the closing theme song performed by Aya Uchida, "Sign"; the song "Gobun no Ichi" performed by the five cast members and which appeared in episode # 12; the opening theme song performed by the cast members and titled “Go-Toubun no Kimochi”, among other content.

For its part, the event was scheduled to take place on May 16, but due to the health contingency Japan is going through, it was decided to postpone it until April 18, 2021. Additionally, in commemoration of the distribution of this video, between On May 11 and 16 of this year, a series of "commercials" with voice reissues will be published:


Go-Toubun no Hanayome was published in the pages of Kodansha editorial Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2017 and February 2020. The work inspired an anime adaptation released in January 2019 and a second season that is now slated for premiere in January 2021. In addition, rumors suggest that the second season will feature an original story, but have not been confirmed.
