The story
of the most beloved gyaru and the shyest student in high school is ready to
return and head towards its final outcome. Author Yuki Kanamaru confirmed that Fuufu
Ijou's manga Koibito Miman (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers)
will officially come out of its break in the December issue of Kadokawa's Young
Ace magazine, which will go on sale during the month of November.
This pause
began in March 2025 with a fairly clear reason: to allow the author to
structure the final part of the plot with the necessary calm and health before
delivering the denouement. After this period of preparation, the story will
resume its publication, fully entering its final arc, which will cover the
content from the fourteenth compilation volume of the work.
The
publication originally debuted in Young Ace magazine in 2018 and
accumulated thirteen volumes published until early 2025. With the return
confirmed, fans will finally know what will be the fate of this fictional
couple who ended up developing true feelings in the middle of a crazy school
assignment, remembering that the title also inspired a popular animated
adaptation broadcast in October 2022.
Fuufu
Ijou, Koibito Miman
is a romantic comedy written and illustrated by Yuki Kanamaru. The plot
follows Jiro Yakuin, an introverted student with almost no romantic experience,
who ends up assigned with Akari Watanabe, a flashy and popular gyaru, into a
practical class where they must pretend to be a newlywed couple. To be able to
change partners with the people they really like, they both decide to act as
the perfect partner to score points, although daily coexistence will soon begin
to confuse their true emotions.
