Hamefura's spin-off manga will release its first volume this month

It was announced that the first compilation volume of the spin-off manga written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nishi, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shite shimatta… Zettai Zetsumei! Hametsu Sunzen-hen (Hamefura: In a Dire Situation !? Verge of Destruction Arc) will be released on May 25.


Satoru and Nishi began publishing the spin-off manga on Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero Sum website in November 2019. Furthermore, Hamefura (originally titled Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shite shimatta) is a series of light novels written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka, which have been published online on the Shousetsuka ni Narou site since July 2014.

Ichijinsha Publishing started its paper publication in August 2015 based on the Ichijinsha Bunko Iris label and to date a total of nine volumes have been published. An anime adaptation has been broadcast since April 2020 and will have a total of twelve episodes. The anime is being produced by Silver Link Studios under the direction of Keisuke Inoue and scripts written and supervised by Megumi Shimizu.

Synopsis of Hamefura: Verge of Destruction Arc

While she was busy bothering the honor student with light powers, Maria Campbell, along with her friends; the fifteen-year-old girl, Kataraina Claes, hits herself on the head and recovers memories of her old life.

Thanks to those memories, Katarina discovers that she is the villain of an otome game in which her destinies always end in exile or death. Even worse, it takes less than a year for their destination to arrive. Katarina's story told from the worst possible moment, how will it end?
