Two SSSS.Gridman spin-off sleeves will release their first volume this month

The launch of the first compilation volume for the two new spin-off manga of the original SSSS.Gridman series was announced, both scheduled for May 27.

The first manga is titled Neon Genesis Junior High Student Diary, and is written and illustrated by Ariko. The work has been published since October 26, 2019, in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine.

The story follows the daily lives of Neon Genesis Junior High School members including Samurai Calibur, Max, Borr, and Vit.



The second manga is titled Hime to Samurai, and is written and illustrated by Kei Toru. The work has been published since October 26, 2019, in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine.

The story unfolds before the events of the first episode of the original animated series.


About SSSS.Gridman

It is an original anime based on a series tokusatsu (name that refers to any serious Japanese live-action that makes absurd use of special effects) issued between 1993 and 1994. The series was produced by a collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions and Trigger studios. .

The series premiered in October 2018 and featured twelve episodes produced under the direction of Akira Amemiya and screenplays written by Keiichi Hasegawa. Subsequently, a new production was announced that serves as a spiritual sequel titled SSSS.Dynazenon that will feature the same production team as the first, including again the participation of Trigger studios.
