Anime director Hoshiai no Sora, Kazuki Akane reported through his Twitter account that the production of a "special video for fans" is complete. Akane added that she is thinking about when and where this short will be presented.
According to the director, this video will be a promotional that will serve as a "compilation". The series also featured another special video that aired on TBS Animation's YouTube channel on March 19. This video featured the closing theme of the anime "Kago no Naka no Bokura wa" and its singer AIKI with the dancer Melochin, who participated as a choreographer for the closing sequence. The video was included in the series' Blu-ray / DVD release, released on April 22.
Furthermore, Hoshiai no Sora was an original anime that was written and directed by Kazuki Akane, and produced by 8-Bit Studios. The series had twelve episodes and aired in October 2019. As additional information, the director revealed that the series was originally planned to have 24 episodes.
Synopsis of Hoshiai no Sora
The youth story revolves around the members of a high school soft tennis team that is about to close. Tōma Shinjō asks Maki Katsuragi to join the team due to her abilities, and mentions a summer competition. However, Katsuragi asks for money in exchange for joining the team.
