The Netflix platform announced today that it will add the animated adaptation of the game Satsuriku no Tenshi to its catalog on June 1 for some countries. However, the platform has not specified in which regions or languages it will be added.

Currently, the series is available in Japanese with Spanish subtitles on the Crunchyroll platform for Latin America under the name of Angels of Death.

Satsuriku no Tenshi is a Japanese horror video game developed by Hoshikuzu KRNKRN (a pseudonym for Makoto Sanada) for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch platforms. It was created using RPG Maker software and released in August 2015.

The success of the game gave way to two manga adaptations, one based on the game and one in the prequel, written by Makoto Sanada and illustrated by Kudan Nazuka, which were published in Monthly Comic Gene magazine by Media Factory publisher in 2015 and on the Pixiv website in 2016, respectively. However, the popularity of the franchise soared with the 16-episode anime adaptation aired in July 2018 and produced by J.C. Staff under the direction of Kentarou Suzuki and scripts written by Yoshinobu Fujioka. The series was licensed by Crunchyroll under the title Angels of Death.

Synopsis of Satsuriku no Tenshi

Most of the girls who wake up without a memory and run into a serial killer would panic, however that's not the case for Ray. In fact, far from being his biggest problem, the killer Zack could be a convenient resource when it comes to finding a way to get out of the building they are both trapped in.
