The June issue of Tokuma Shoten publisher Monthly Comic Zenon magazine announced that the manga Souten no Ken: Re: Genesis will go on indefinite hiatus as illustrator Hideki Tsuji's health has deteriorated.
The magazine also revealed that Kei Koga's manga Trace: Kasouken Houi Kenkyuuin no Tsuisou will be on hiatus until the December issue of the magazine on October 24.
The Souten no Ken: Re: Genesis manga is a collaboration between artist Hideki Tsuji, writer Hiroyuki Yatsu, editorial supervisor Buronson, and Tetsuo Hara. This group began publishing the manga in Tokuma Shoten publisher's Monthly Comic Zenon magazine in October 2017. The publisher published the fourth compilation volume on February 20.
Buronson and Horie wrote the Souten no Ken (Fist of the Blue Sky) manga with illustrations by Hara. This manga is a prequel to Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star). For its part, the first was released in the Weekly Comic Bunch magazine of the Shinchosha publishing house in May 2001, and continued until the magazine ceased publication in August 2010. The publisher published a total of 22 compilation volumes.
