During a recent interview with author Hiroaki Samura, he mentioned that the animated adaptation of his manga Nami yo Kiite kure will feature an original ending. This closes the possibility that the series has a sequel worked by the same production committee.
Currently, the manga is in publication and the same author revealed that he still does not plan to conclude the story of it.
The series premiered on April 3 in Japan. For his part, Samura began publishing the manga in July 2014. The Kodansha publishing house published the sixth compilation volume on March 22. The author also wrote the Mugen no Jūnin manga, which was recently adapted for the anime.
