The Souboutei Kowasubeshi manga is about to enter its last arc

In the seventeenth compilation volume of the manga written and illustrated by Kazuhiro Fujita, Souboutei Kowasubeshi, it was revealed that the series will enter its final arc in its eighteenth volume, scheduled for the month of July.


Fujita had already commented in April 2018 that the manga was very close to ending, and that there were only few events left to cover. For his part, Fujita began publishing the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in March 2016. The publisher published the sixteenth volume in March 2020.

The author also wrote the manga Ushio to Tora, which he published in the same magazine between 1990 and 1996, with the Shogakukan publishing house publishing a total of 33 compilation volumes. The play inspired an anime adaptation of 39 episodes produced by MAPPA studios in collaboration with Studio VOLN, directed by Satoshi Nishimura and scripts written by Toshiki Inoue, and released in July 2015. The manga had already inspired a series of OVAs. of eleven episodes released in 1992.
