In the June issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine, it was revealed that Yasunari Nagatoshi will resume serializing the Zo Zo Zombie manga in the magazine's next issue in June.
Nagatoshi began publishing the manga in Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine in November 2012 and finalized it with the release of its eleventh volume in February 2018. The manga also inspired the 40-Shuunen da yo spin-off! Choir Choir All-Star Shougakkou.
Canadian toy and media company Spin Master in collaboration with Shogakukan-Shueisha Production is producing an animated adaptation based on the manga. The first five episodes were released on March 19, and the series is slated to feature 103 three-minute episodes.
Nagatoshi is also the author of the Uchuujin Tanaka Taro manga, which he published in 1999 through the Shogakukan publishing house.
