The talent agency Mitt Management, through its Twitter account, reported that the voice actress and singer Yui Ishikawa has filed a complaint with the police department due to a series of threats recently received.
The statement detailed that the publications and malicious messages have continued since April, ensuring that they will physically harm Ishikawa herself, her family and her agency. The company will remain in contact with legal advisers and the police while the investigation of the case is active.
The announcement also apologized to fans for the concerns caused and appreciated the support shown.
About Yui Ishikawa
Born in Hyougo Prefecture in May 1989, Ishikawa is a voice actress and singer who started out as a theater actress in 2007. One of her most characteristic roles is being the voice of Mikasa Ackerman in the Shingeki no Kyojin series.
However, their roles also include China Kousaka in Gundam Build Fighters, Violet Evergarden in Violet Evergarden, Honoka Tsumura in Waratte's Runway, and Kyururu in Kemono Friends. The actress also performed musical themes in series such as Heroic Age, Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou and Girlish Number.
