The anime adaptation of the 22/7 multimedia project, based on Yasushi Akimoto, Aniplex and Sony Music Records' group 22/7 idols (Nanabun no Nujuuni), is reported to have racked up 2,174 units sold for the special edition of its third Blu-ray / DVD compilation since its release on June 17, distributed as follows:
- Blu-ray format: 1,840 copies.
- DVD format: 334 copies.
The series premiered in January 2020 and had a total of twelve episodes, produced by A-1 Pictures studios, directed by Takao Abo and scripts written by Chiaki Nagai and Reiji Miyajima.

Synopsis of 7/22
One day Miu Takigawa receives a letter notifying her that she has been selected to be part of a new project. Without waiting long, she goes to the agreed location and discovers that seven other girls have also been chosen. All are taken to secret facilities and are told that, on orders from "The Wall", they must form an idol group.
