Carole & Tuesday's manga adaptation will end in July

The author Morito Yamataka announced through his Twitter account that the manga adaptation of the original anime Carole & Tuesday will come to an end with the publication of the sixteenth chapter, in the month of July.


Yamataka began publishing the manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine in May 2019. The publisher published the second compilation volume on February 4. For its part, the original 24-episode anime was produced by Bones Studios, under the direction of Shinichiro Watanabe and Motonobu Hori, and scripts written by Deko Akao, Yasuhiro Nakanishi, Kimiko Ueno, and others. The series is released in April 2019 and is available through the Netflix platform.

Synopsis of Carole & Tuesday

The story unfolds in the future on a partially inhabited planet Mars, the teenage Tuesday Simmons runs away from her affluent lifestyle as the daughter of a politician and manages to get to Ciudad Alba, for the sake of pursuing her dream of becoming a musician alone with a suitcase and her Gibson acoustic guitar as luggage.

On her first day in the city, she meets Carole Stanley, an orphan refugee from Earth and another aspiring musician, who plays the piano. Both decide to unite to form a songwriter duo, which will be known as Carole & Tuesday.
