The second Blu-ray / DVD compilation of the anime adaptation of Q Hayashida's manga, Dorohedoro, is reported to have amassed a total of 3,200 copies sold since its release on June 17. This is considered regular sales performance.

For his part, Hayashida published the manga in three different magazines between 2000 and 2018. The Shogakukan publishing house compiled the work in a total of 23 volumes.

Recently, a special 14-page chapter was released 17 months after the original manga ended. The manga inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation released in January 2020 and produced by MAPPA Studios. Netflix premiered the series through its platform on May 28.
