In this year's issue # 28 of Kodansha's Morning magazine, it was announced that the spin-off manga written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Fukuda, Hataraku Saibou Baby, will again go on indefinite hiatus.

Fukuda began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher's Morning magazine in October 2019. The publisher published the first compilation volume on January 9. The play went into a two-month hiatus between December 2019 and February 2020 for unspecified reasons. Additionally, the Kodansha publishing house confirmed that the second compilation volume will be released on July 20.

For its part, this manga is a spin-off series of the manga written and illustrated by Akane Shimizu, Hataraku Saibou, which has been published in Monthly Comic Sirius magazine by Kodansha publishing house since March 2015, and has inspired a large number of other derived series, as well as an anime adaptation whose second season will premiere in January 2021.
