Synopsis of Hidan no Aria
In response to the worsening crime rate, Japan creates "Tokyo Butei High", an elite academy where "Butei" or armed detectives hone their deadly skills to become mercenary agents in the service of justice. One Butei in particular is Kinji Tooyama, a rude, antisocial freshman who was once a student in the Combat-Focused Assault Division.
Kinji now lives a life of logistical student leisure with the goal of keeping his powerful but embarrassing special ability hidden. However, his peaceful days soon end when he becomes the target of the "Detective Killer," and he finds himself facing the emotionally unstable and academic prodigy, Aria Holmes Kanzaki, who saves Kinji's life and demands that he become Your partner.
