With this announcement, the seven scheduled performances of this concert tour have been indefinitely postponed. On the official site, it was highlighted that this decision had to be made to ensure the safety of the attendees due to the still latent COVID-19 pandemic, and the subsequent restrictions imposed by the government regarding the holding of massive events.
A new date for these concerts, if decided, will be announced soon, however, if there is no possibility of modifying the original agenda, then the project will be canceled. The original concert schedule included seven presentations at seven different venues between May 5 and September 5 of this year.
Kimetsu no Yaiba
For his part, Koyoharu Gotouge began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016 and May 2020. The publisher published the 20th compilation volume on May 13. The play inspired a 26-episode anime adaptation released in April 2019, and produced by Ufotable Studios. Additionally, the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen is confirmed, which will adapt the "Arc of the Infinite Train" and will be released on October 16.
