The station will feature character stands, promotional posters, and printed manga panels. Additionally, the Yuru Yuri memorial train will stop at the station between 11:00 and 16:00 for a photo shoot.

The train to be decorated with the character illustrations will be # 721, and is scheduled to run through the Kyoto area between July 4 and November 30, 2020. In addition, a limited series of passenger tickets will be sold at Idemachiyanagi station on July 24, with only 1,000 units available.

For his part, Namori began the publication of the Yuru Yuri manga in 2008 and the Ichijinsha publishing house published the eighteenth compilation volume on May 27. The play has inspired three anime adaptations, several OVAs, and other spin-offs.

Namori also recently participated in character design for the Release the Spyce and Endro ~! Anime, released in October 2018 and January 2019, respectively.
