Synopsis
of Hell Teacher Nube
What
seems like a normal day at Dōmori Elementary School is interrupted by some
strange phenomenon, usually targeting one of Nube's own students. Nube is
forced into action, most often using the power of the Demon's Hand to help
solve the problem, but sometimes the solution lies either in one of his other
spiritual weapons, or in reasoning with or otherwise appeasing the threatening
entity.
In the
end, things always seem to return to normal, and Nube and his students have
learned something from the experience. For the most part, the series maintains
an episodic formula, forgoing an overarching plot in favor of more
character-driven action, though there are several recurring antagonists, as
well as some longer story arcs toward the end of the series.
