It seems
that the university hangover of Iori Kitahara and company is far from over.
Just one day after airing the final episode of its third installment, the
animated adaptation of Grand Blue Dreaming took everyone by surprise by
confirming that it already has a fourth season in production,
accompanying the news with a great promotional image to warm up engines.
The closing
of the third part left the audience wanting more after having taken the club's
adventures outside Japanese territory for the first time, setting their crazy
days on the paradisiacal beaches of Palau. Although for now the team behind the
project has not revealed the exact date on which they will return to the screen
or the specific details of the plot, the news has been received with enormous
enthusiasm by those who feared a long wait between deliveries.
This speed
to announce new episodes has become a constant for the franchise in recent
times. After that distance of several years after the premiere of the original
installment in 2018, the story pressed the accelerator from 2025, chaining

to be published in the pages of Good! Afternoon from Kodansha in April
2014. The plot follows in the footsteps of Iori Kitahara, a young man who moves
to a coastal town to start his university life while staying at his uncle's
dive shop. What promised to be a quiet school stage full of beautiful girls
ends up turning into a spiral of chaos, absurd nudity and rivers of alcohol
with a group of unique classmates.
